Problem of raw meat is that you have a 90% chance to have worm parasites that otherwise would be destroyed by cooking. Those worms distribute everywhere in the dog's body, including brain.

My issue right now is my dog eats his food to fast so we only take 1 step or not even 1 and the food is done. Idk if it’s the way I’m holding it or if it’s something on my dog but please let me know how I can fix it?

I do something like this with my 7,5 years old Australian shepherd. I have a tennis ball, ( it's his absolute favourite in the whole world). I tell him to lay down, trow away the ball, tell him to walk away and then I direkt him to go left, right, to stop or run. So I do that for x amount off time til him, "Go!". I can then tell him to bring it or to go somewhere with it, like to his yard, to my bike if we're out and I have it parked to tell him to take a break and stay put. It's really cool and he is so stubborn and smart. Love to give him jobs to do for rewards, pulling karts, sleds, biking, skiing. He loves to work 😍☺️

Easy to do with a dog that tall, I have a corgi. I have used a retractable leash and let her run on it as we walk. She doesn't pull, because I stop and don't move forward until she stops, sometimes I jerk her to make her stop, when she does we move forward, but she Has a lot of energy, and I use this to work some of it off. I don't know how I would use the lure method, with such a short dog.

1) How much time would you consider that is needed daily to train a young Melanois? in addition to an 8 to 10 k daily walk? 2) What toys and track obstacles would be absolutely necessary? 3) Is a surface with grass is absolutely necessary?

I just found you, I rescued a neutered three e year old BM/ GS cross. He’s a good boy. He was going to be euthanized, I had never had the nerve to have one but I felt I had no choice that day. His name is Rusty and he is getting adjusted to the pack and we are starting at step one training him. We are so lucky to have your channel. Thank you for being here.

I have a rescue did DNA test showed 50% Malinois and 32% American staffy, 5% pit 9% bulldog and 4% American bully. Rescue said someone found him and 2 other litter mates in a box on side of road. He’s sooo smart! But he is terrified of everything! I got him at about 4 months old. He loves to learn tricks, jump for balls, etc. is great inside house and our yard witch is pretty big, however the separation anxiety u mentioned is totally him. If he’s not in a kennel while we’re gone he’s destroyed things in trash or poops in obvious places etc. this is extremely rare he has opportunity but still… if I try to take him for a walk he immediately freaks out! I have to take him out back gate b/c refuses front door, if carried to a vehicle he tries to burrow himself under the seats and he’s 75lb! I hate to see him scared of everything forever! Any advice?

I jus got a Belgium malinois/ bluenose pitbull mix and boy she has energy this helped me tremendously she's a 6 month puppy

I almost feel like my dogs are doing better before I tried this doing this has distracted at least one of them and been almost counterproductive if anything. I don't know if it's cuz I'm trying to do two at once but the younger ones not as smart as the other one either, but the issue is the treats even when trying to train him to catch the ball all he sees is the treats and he forgets about everything else. I still do train him retreats but the luring him for the heel is a little more tricky for some reason

This is old so I’m not sure if I’ll get a response but am I supposed to feed them less to do training with food or do I just add food in training plus his normal food? That’s normally what I do but I don’t want to over feed

Question: I just rescued an amazing, chill, low motivated, young Malnois mix. He is already well trained but now we need to aclimate and learn together. We have bonded & are in love. But he is not food/treat motivated. Suggestions? PLEASE???
